Budhill HPP, Renserve Project
It was in the end of year 2019 (Covid-19 beginning), when one of FLOVEL’s esteemed customer, Greenko Energy, placed an order for service and rehab of their Francis Runner (of 35 MW power generation capacity). The runner after receipt was in a very bad shape (as can be seen in the pics) but we turned it around with a HVOF coating and despatched it to site in September 2020. It’s almost two years now and Greenko is more than happy to see the performance of the renovated runner and has faced no issues with it. On the back of the above success, Greenko placed an order for a new cast fabricated runner in 2021, and the same is in an advanced stage of completion as well.
