Hua Chang 2 HPP – Lai Chau Province (2 x 3.5 MW + 10% COL)

FLOVEL proudly announces the successful commissioning of Hua Chang 2 HPP (2 x 3.5 MW + 10% COL) on 5th June 2021. This project, owned by Hua Chang 2 Hydropower Joint Stock Company, in Lai Chau Province of Vietnam, is FLOVEL’s 4th commissioned project in the same province.
The contract was awarded to FLOVEL on 25th March 2020 for design, manufacturing and supply of complete electro-mechanical equipment package with a tight delivery schedule including supervision of installation and commissioning. Despite the challenging timelines, and disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the supply of equipment was completed within 10 months (1 month ahead of schedule).
Installation of equipment and commissioning of the plant was completed under round the clock supervision of the FLOVEL team with active cooperation and support of site the team of Hua Chang 2 Hydropower JSC. Performance of FLOVEL and quality of machinery was highly appreciated by the Customer.
