Lower Labayat River (2 x 700 kW), Philippines

FLOVEL signed a contract with M/s Blue Energy Holdings and Management for Lower Labayat HPP (2 x 0.7 MW) in Philippines. Project is located in Barangay Lubayat, Municipality of Real, province. Blue Energy is a subsidiary company of Repower Energy which is a well reputed and experienced hydro company in Philippines.

FLOVEL’s contractual scope comprises of the supply of Horizontal Pelton Turbine, Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant and Supervision of Erection, Testing & Commissioning.

This will be our First Pelton Turbine Project in Island Group of Luzon in Philippines and with successful execution, this project will harness abundant river waters to generate electricity in a clean and sustainable manner and will help power more than 3,000 households in Quezon province.

The project parameters are as follows:
Type of Turbines: Horizontal 2 Jet Pelton
Rated Head: 165.28 m
Installed Capacity: 2 x 700 KW

FLOVEL’s scope includes Horizontal 2 Jet Pelton Turbine, generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant including supervision of erection, testing & commissioning.
