Technical Details<\/span>:<\/span>\r\n<\/strong>Capacity: 19,800 KW\r\nType of turbine: Vertical Francis\r\nHead: 303 M\r\nDischarge: 7.5 m3 <\/sup>\/ Sec\r\nRated Speed: 750 RPM<\/p>\r\nRenovation<\/a>, Modernisation<\/a> and uprating of Sholayar Hydro Electric Project, scope Includes Reverse Engineering, Model test, Design, Manufacture, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of complete E&M Equipment which includes Vertical Francis Turbine<\/a>, Generator, Digital Governor, Digital Static Excitation system, SCADA<\/a> and other balance of plant equipment. The main technical challenge was to design the machine in line with existing spiral casing with stay ring and deliver 10% additional output. Model turbine was designed and manufactured at our works, tested in an independent laboratory in Sweden. Results were even better than the committed values.[\/vc_column_text]
