Lashpathri HEP, Jammu & Kashmir, India

FLOVEL is extremely glad to announce the signing of the Contract for Lashpathri HEP in Jammu & Kashmir, India with Horizontal Pelton units. The Project is located in Sonmarg, District Ganderbal of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory in India. The power plant will be situated at an altitude of 2,800 meters above sea level and the temperature during winters reach -20 degrees centigrade. FLOVEL was selected as the preferred E&M partner for this project due to its extensive experience working with projects situated at high altitudes.
Being a fast-track project the completion of the project is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2023.
The project parameters are as follows:
Type of Turbines: 3-Jet Horizontal Pelton Turbine
Capacity: 2 x 7.5 MW
Rated Head: 358.13 m
FLOVEL’s contractual scope includes supply of Horizontal Pelton Turbines, Main Inlet Valves, Synchronous Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant, 33KV Indoor Switchgear Panel and Supervision of Erection, Testing & Commissioning.
