FLOVEL is extremely glad to announce the signing of the Contract for Suchhu HPP (18 MW) in Bhutan with Horizontal Pelton turbine units.
This Project is being developed by Druk Hydro Energy Limited (DHyE) which is a 100% subsidiary of Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) and is engaged in the business of generation of electricity in Bhutan.
The Project is located in Haa Dzongkhag (District) of Bhutan. This is our first project in Bhutan and with this we have entered a new territory.
The project parameters are as follows:
Type of Turbine: 3-Jet Horizontal Pelton
Rated Head: 273 m
Installed Capacity: 2 x 9 MW
FLOVEL’s contractual scope includes supply of Horizontal Pelton Turbines, Main Inlet Valves, Synchronous Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant, 66KV Outdoor Switchyard, Transportation and Erection, Testing & Commissioning.
