Dong Mit HPP 2 x 4,726 kW, Vietnam

Contract for Dong Mit HPP was signed on April 28th, 2020. The 9.4 MW hydro power plant will be fitted with special Kaplan Runners with 8 blade design to operate at a head of 37 meters and to accommodated the large head variations envisaged during operation.
Project is located in An Lao District, Binh Dinh Province and is our second project in this province after Nuoc Xang HPP.
For this project, entire contract discussions were carried out during the lockdown period over Video Conferencing with FLOVEL team sitting in Hanoi and the client sitting in Quy Nhon City and followed by email communications.
The project is scheduled to start commercial operation in the third quarter of 2022.
