Letter of Acceptance for Renovation and Modernization of Existing Sholayar HEP (3 x 19.8 MW) in India was received on June 16th 2015. FLOVEL´S Scope for Sholayar HEP includes Vertical Francis Turbines, Main Inlet Spherical Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, Generators, Auxiliaries, Bus Duct, SCADA, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant and Model Testing, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Equipment.

The Sholayar HEP was originally commissioned in 1966 with Litostroj Power (Yugoslavia) make Turbine and Rade Koncar (Yugoslavia) make Generators. The project is owned and operated by Kerala State Electricity Board, Kerala, India.

The renovation and modernization work for Sholayar HEP involves reverse engineering of Turbine and PRV, model testing of Turbine, design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, Erection and Commissioning of Electro-mechanical Equipment.

Since 2007 this is our Sixth Project for Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), Kerala in India. In addition to Sholayar HEP, we have received total order of 14 units with total installed capacity of 86.24 MW from KSEB, Kerala.
