Tho Gu 1 HPP (2 x 5.1 MW) in Vietnam
FLOVEL is extremely glad to announce the signing of the Contract for Tho Gu 1 HPP (2 x 5.1 MW) in Vietnam with Horizontal Francis units.
This Project is being developed by Quang Minh Lai Chau Hydropower Development Joint Stock Company.
Tho Gu 1 Hydro Power Project is located in Lai Chau Province, Vietnam and our twelfth project in this province. With this, FLOVEL’s total project capacity in Lai Chau province is 157 MW in small & medium hydro projects. Owner is one of the leading developers of hydro power projects in the region and our repeat customer after Nam Chan HPP which is testimony to the good quality of equipment and services supplied by FLOVEL.
The completion time of this project is scheduled towards the first quarter of year 2026.
The project parameters are as follows:
Type of Turbines: Horizontal Francis Turbine
Rated Head: 170.90 m
Installed Capacity: 2 x 5,100 kW
FLOVEL’s contractual scope includes supply of Horizontal Francis Turbine, Main Inlet Valve, Synchronous Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant and Supervision of erection, testing & commissioning.
