The new PUMA 4100/5100 from DOOSAN is roaring at our machine shop. It doesn’t leave its prey until finished. Be it mild steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, castings, forgings, rolled steel of any kind, PUMA just finishes it in the quickest possible time with an accuracy of less than 10 microns and exactly matching the 3D model of the component. Once the target gets fixed within the centres, the special tools act like the jaws of the wild cat to tear apart any unwanted material by turning, milling, drilling and tapping. It becomes difficult sometimes to satisfy its hunger due to its very high efficiency. It has provided a sudden surge in the plant capacity.
