With immense pleasure, we proudly announce the successful commissioning of Suoi SAP 2A HPP.

FLOVEL’s highest capacity green field hydro project, Suoi SAP 2A HPP, Vietnam – 2 x 33,000 kW (SS2A) has been successfully commissioned and handed over to the customer for commercial operation.  Smooth commissioning and excellent operational parameters are especially praised by the customer. A water-to-wire project, it is a testimony to our robust Design, Manufacturing, and Project management capabilities. SS2A is the Sixth hydropower project executed by FLOVEL for the XUAN THIEN Group totalling to 185,000 kW.  We thank Xuan Thien Group for their continued trust and look forward to achieving many more milestones together.

Project Location: Bac Yen District, Son La Province, Vietnam

The project was commissioned and synchronized to the grid (Unit 1: 12th Nov 2022 and Unit 2: 15th Nov 2022) and the plant was handed over to Customer for commercial operation.

Scope of works included Design, Manufacturing and Supply of Vertical Francis Turbine, MIV, Generator, Digital Governor, complete E-BOP & M-BOP equipment on water to wire basis and supervision services of erection, testing & commissioning.

This is FLOVEL’s highest capacity green field project executed till now.

Customer is extremely delighted with the performance of the machines and has applauded the execution efforts of the FLOVEL team. The smooth commissioning process and excellent operational parameters showcase FLOVEL’s robust and reliable Design, Manufacturing and Project Management capabilities.
