Order for Bac Na HPP was won against stiff competition from European and Chinese Electro Mechanical Equipment manufacturers. The Vietnamese hydropower market has been an important market for electro mechanical equipment manufacturers. Since 2007, FLOVEL has received 14 orders in Vietnam. Out of which Eight projects stand commissioned cumulating to 159 MW and another Five projects cumulating to 90 MW are at various stages of completion.

Scope for Bac Na Project is on Water to Wire basis and includes Two sets of Vertical 4 Jets Pelton Turbine, Spherical Valves, Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of plant including supervision of erection, testing & commissioning.
