Huayquichuma Hydroelectric Project (6.5 MW), Ecuador, LatAm
With great pleasure, we wish to inform you that, we have signed the Contract for Huayquichuma HEP (2 x 3.25 MW) in Ecuador, Latin America. This is our 1st project with complete E&M Works in Ecuador.
Huayquichuma Hydroelectric Project is located in the province of El Oro, approximately 15 km north of the city of Zaruma, Ecuador.
The project key parameters are as follows:
Type of Turbine: Horizontal 2-Jet Pelton
Rated Head: 441.16 m
Installed Capacity: 6.5 MW
Site Altitude: 1,183 m masl
FLOVEL’s scope is complete E&M Package which includes Horizontal 2-Jet Pelton Turbines, Generators, Valves, Control, Automation & Protection System, complete electrical and mechanical balance of plant and transportation up to Guayaquil Sea port, Ecuador including supervision of erection, testing at site & commissioning.
