Krong Pa 2 HPP – Gia Lai Province (2 x 7.5 MW + 20% COL)

FLOVEL received a con­tract to supply ­electro-mechanical equipment for KRONG PA 2 Hydropower Plant in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam. The scope of supply includes design, supply, installation supervision and commissioning of the Horizontal Francis Turbines, Main Inlet Valves, Generators, Main Transformers, Outdoor 110kV Switchyard Equipment, as well as Control and Protection Systems.

The time schedule was challenging from very beginning of the project, in spite of this FLOVEL completed the deliveries and commissioned the project within the contractual timeline.

The project was commissioned and synchronized to the grid on November 2, 2018 and is under commercial operation. With a total capacity of 18 MW (2 X 9 MW) making a significant contribution to the fast-growing energy demand of the country.
