Recently a brand new Doosan PUMA 400 CNC turning center was added to existing highly sophisticated CNC machine shop of Flovel. With the introduction of this turning center the requirement of the international customers to deliver turbines within shortest span of time can be addressed.

With the addition of this machine tool with 12 No of tool stations and turret index time of just 0.25 sec we have begun to feel its positive effects of productivity. Be it finish turning of complex wicket gates, complete machining of bush housings, slide valves, fasteners, etc. The surface finishes achieved are close to N5 with excellent geometrical tolerances (measured within 2 microns).
