In December 2018, FLOVEL signed a contract with Cosmos Hydro Private Limited for Chanju-II HEP (3 x 7.26 MW).  Project is located on Ravi river basin in north India in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh state,
FLOVEL’s contractual scope comprises of the supply of Horizontal Francis Turbine, Generators, Electrical & Mechanical Balance of Plant and Erection, Testing & Commissioning.

Chanju II HEP is the third hydro project being developed by the customer on BOOT basis after Manglad HEP. & Binwa IV HEP. One of the challenges in the project is the tight time frame for delivery; a team of FLOVEL Engineers along with Cosmos Engineers are working in close cooperation to meet the challenges of the project execution.  The completion of the project is scheduled for the first half of 2020.

FLOVEL has already executed many projects in Himachal Pradesh generating hundreds of MW’s clean renewable energy.

With successful execution of this project, FLOVEL will further reinforce its leadership position in domestic market as a preferred and reliable partner.
