It gives us immense pleasure to announce the commissioning of first fully forged Pelton Runner with capacity of 50MW in FLOVEL history. It is a remarkable achievement for FLOVEL team to successfully reverse engineer, design, manufacture, install, test and commission 3 new fully forged Pelton runners at Shanan powerhouse. 50 MW Runner is generating to best of their output since May 2018, one 15 MW runner is generating to best of its output since July 2018 and the other 15 MW runner since September 2018.

These new runners are now the new benchmark for PSPCL, as earlier they were facing issue of frequent cracking of casted runners. FLOVEL did complete assessment, root cause analysis and redesigning of runners and after replacing it with new fully forged runners, they are performing extremely well. HVOF coating on Runners had further prolonged the life of runners and will generate more over the period of time.
